REEF LIFE KH Buffer

For the stabilisation and increase of alkalinity in reef aquariums

Reef Life KH Buffer is a supplement for replenishing the carbonate buffer in reef aquariums to stabilise the carbonate hardness (alkalinity). To dose the KH Buffer a stock solution has to be prepared. Dissolve 1 bag (375g) of Reef Life KH Buffer in 5 l distilled water. 25 ml per day is enough for an average reef aquarium of 100 litres In aquariums with many hard corals, the buffer requirement should be checked with a good KH test kit so the dosing rate can be adjusted. The addition of Reef Life KH Buffer can be automated using the Reefdoser - a dosing pump controller. Reef Life KH Buffer should always be used in combination with Reef Life Calcium, in order to stabilise not only the KH content, but also the calcium concentration.
