Air driven protein skimmer for aquaria up to 3000 l (800 gal)

The Flotor 5000 has the same dimensions as the Turboflotor 5000, however, it is operated using air stones. The reaction pipe has a diameter of 20 cm (8") and both outlet pipes are located outside the skimmer. If used with a powerful air pump (e.g. WISA 1000), the 2 lime wood air stones produce a fine foam in the water, which operates in a strong counter current. The air stones can be changed quickly and easily. The skimmer is available in two sizes:

Flotor 5000 baby:
