Powerful new skimmers for in cabinet installation

From the successful Turboflotor 5.000 series we have developed two powerful protein skimmers for in cabinet installation. They close the gap between the Turboflotor 1.000 multi – for aquaria up to 500 litres (c. 150 gallons) and the Turboflotor 5.000 baby for aquaria from 1,000 – 2,000 litres (c. 250 – 500 gallons). The “Shorties” are manufactured in 2 sizes to fit into most aquarium cabinets. Like the larger models, they are supplied with a venturi pump and our patented needle wheel. The water supply to the skimmer requires a second pump with a capacity of minimum 2,000 l/h (c. 500 gph). The skimmer may also be directly connected to the overflow of the aquarium. In this case it is recommended that a bypass be installed to control the water flow to the skimmer, especially if powerful return pumps are used. Shorty compact, reduced space requirement only 34 x 38 cm.
